“Most of the ghosts who do haunt this jail are English people who were hung and they’ve never had anyone with an English accent do the ghost walks before so they actually find comfort in hearing my accent.”
Felicity Cooper believes the ghosts of the old Charlotte County Jail are more active because of her familiar British accent; after all, St. Andrews by the Sea was the oldest British loyalist town in New Brunswick! Archivist Heather Wilson also joins us for this incredibly entertaining conversation!
