In 1901, a young woman by the name of Nell Cropsey went missing from her home in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Suspicion immediately fell on her long-time beau Jim Wilcox, but the authorities were unable to find her for thirty-seven heartbreaking days.
Wilcox was quickly convicted of murdering Nell on seemingly circumstantial evidence, but many believe that the mysteries of this heartbreaking tale still remain hidden after over a decade.
